If all else fails, build a fort!
If you have ever had a busy toddler then you know what I mean. When they are bored with all their other toys, books etc, and you don't want to resort to watching PBS or a movie... Build a fort! And came he did. He helped me gather all the blankies and gathered the chairs. He loved every moment. And as soon as i put the blanket on top and it made a little darkened room, he climbed right in. I asked him if he needed toys and he gathered up his cars of course. Then I gathered up some stuffed animals and put them in there and told he would not be lonely now. Top it all off with some snacks and a drink and some Winnie the Pooh music, and mom is free for a little while. YAY!
