Busy week

I'm afraid that may be the name of many posts to come.
It has been interesting around here lately. My new job is going well. I am enjoying learning about the real estate market. I am making friends with many of the agents in the office. I even went out last night after work with some of them for a drink before I came home. My boss is really great and I enjoy working for him and the owner. They each give me many projects to keep me busy throughout the week, for which I am thankful because without them some days would be excruciatingly boring. This is a brand new office that just opened in February, so it not very busy yet. We also only have 4 agents, so some days there isn't much to do.

My dear husband is still searching for a job. The search has been rough and had it's share of ups and downs. He does get interviews but most just end there, and it leaves him feeling extremely frustrated. He is having a really rough time right now, keep him in your prayers.

My son seems to be taking this all in stride. Whoever said children were not adaptable. No matter what we seem to throw at him, he keeps bouncing right along. I mean it literally... bouncing right along. Anyone with or who has had a 2 yr old knows they bounce almost constantly, with no exception for Josiah. He is really wonderful! He does spend some days with my sister and her family during the day so hubby can catch some quiet time for making calls and sending out resumes. They absolutely love having him around. In fact the last couple days he has stayed home with daddy, and my sister informed me that her children miss him. :-) Awww... it's nice to know you are loved isn't it. I do like him spending time with the other children though because for some reason he tends to learn more words after spending time them. And with him not really speaking all that much, it does him a world of good even to learn one new word a week. I am so thankful to have my sister's family so close. We are so blessed!

Weekends tend to be times for me to catch up on rest, and go grocery shopping and meal planning. Plus spending lots of quality time with my family! Today is no exception, I need to go shopping today and then we are going to my sister's house this evening to watch the kids so that her and her husband can go out for a much needed night out. :-)

Blessings to you and yours!

Hi Jen!

Gosh, I feel the need to apologize to you. I sincerely hope that the tone of my blog post was not snippy or mean. I didn't know Dawn was talking about your little guy, I thought that she meant two year olds in general.

I have a good friend whose son was speech delayed. When he turned thre he started talking and never stopped! :-)

I really hope that you get some answers soon. You and Josiah will be in my prayers today!((()))
