Snow

It snowed here today. We don't get much of that around here. The snow teased us several times last year with poor results but this year we got the snow and a deep freeze with single digit wind chills to boot. When it was coming down hard this morning the boys and I went outside to play in it. They had so much fun! Although I think I have to say that I had just as much or more fun sledding down our steep driveway with our 8 year old sled! At one point, I put both boys on the sled with me and we went down all together giggling the whole way! What awesome memories will those be for Josiah! The fresh air and rigorous exercise did him so good today. It did excite him, yes, but really he was just happy. And looking back now at the day, I can see he was just truly feeling that joy that any Oregon kid does when it snows here. And I can relate to that. :-)
