HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DEAR SON, JOSIAH!

5 years ago today, I gave birth to my first child, a son, Josiah Samuel. What a beautiful gift from God he was! We couldn't have felt more blessed than at the moment my husband put our son in my arms. It is hard to express the feelings that moment gave me but also the fear it dispelled. After 33 hours of labor, and giving birth 5 weeks early, I had no idea I had just given birth to the most beautiful gift of love I would ever receive (and 3 and a half years later his brother, as well.) At 8:22 that morning we ended a 7 year stretch of infertility that had crippled my faith in God and my own strength.
Simply said, it was a moment that changed my life forever! Happy birthday to my wonderful son! And thank you to a most loving and caring God who never forgot my sincere desire to be a Mommy!
