We are still waiting for the arrival of our son. On Monday night I was up for most of the night with terrible contractions again only to have them stop again by 5am. Those sure are loooong nights. As long as I get a nap in the afternoon I do ok, but this is sure getting frustrating. I get my hopes up that this could be it, but they never really get strong enough, and then they just stop.
The good thing is that I have a dr's appt tomorrow afternoon. I know that I will be checked to see if my cervix has made any progress, and I will be discussing with my dr about inducing by next Wednesday. I am very excited about this dr's appt. Please pray that my body has started preparing for labor, and if not then it will soon becuase that will mean an easier labor if I am induced if my body has already started to dialate.
I am so anxious to have this little one, and the feeling is mutual throughout the whole house as well. There is just this underlying "baby buzz" happening. With any strong contraction that comes, all eyes are on me, with the question behind them asking me "is this finally it?" Trust me when I say, I sure the heck hope so! I am so ready for this baby to come out, it's not even funny! I'm a litte uneasy of going through the whole birth process again but that's part of the whole package and I am quite willing to go through it RIGHT NOW, to just be able to hold this little one in my arms. (sigh)
All else is going well here. Josiah is getting anxious for his baby brother to come. We go on walks every day after lunch to kinda get contractions going. During yesterday's jaunt, we went offroad a little bit into a field next to our neighborhood. There is a very small stream that runs through it and the kids went exploring. What I did not know was how deep the stream was in places and I thought Josiah would be ok to tromp through the area with his cousins nearby, while I stood and looked at the pretty mountains in the distance. Well, in short time my sister and I heard Josiah cry out for us. My sister took off running to him and I walked (or woddled) as fast as I could. It appeared that he had just gotten his foot stuck in a mudhole in the stream. My sister pulled him out. The most damage he incurred was muddy and soaking wet feet and wet up to one knee. Not bad for experiencing his first exploration of a field stream. Believe me when I say that he had the biggest frown on his face for having to wear his nasty, dirty, wet shoes all the way back home. It was really all quite comical and daddy of course thought it was quite funny when I relayed the story to him later. Well until the day of birth comes, we continue to fill our days with fun stories like these, becuase it sure makes the monotony go by much quicker. :-) I will post again soon and let you all know what the dr and I decide on for a induce by day. Until then, blessings to all. :-)

Hurray for Josiah getting muddy! Just like his mama and daddy to go off road and wander through a stream. God bless you honey; I can feel your anxiousness to have the birth and delivery over so you can hold Boy 2. :) Hang in there, my friend.
