5 yrs ago: That was a tough year. 2000... We were living in Colorado Springs, CO, and I was working at Nazarene Bible College; I was also attending school there. My husband was working for the Christian Missionary and Alliance main offices, in the shipping department. His job was not going well, and my home church in Portland, OR was considering calling me for ministry, to run an after school program. (We did not know that the next month my husband would lose his job and I would take that position and we moved back home to OR)
1 yr ago: I was filled with bliss that I finally had my blessed son! Mmm... in July he was 10 months old and I worried why he wasn't crawling yet. He had just learned how to sit on his own, and was doing most other things he should except talking.. not even a daddy or da da yet, much to my husband's dismay.
Yesterday: Hubby had a short day so we completely cleaned our Volkswagon Vanagon to get it ready to sell. I must say it is cleaner than we have ever had it, maybe even cleaner than when we bought it. It was fun though. Josiah even got his own rag to clean, and I tell ya... that little guy is turning into a clean freak! :-)
Today: Laundry day! Woo-hoo! Plus I need to plant some more beets and spinach in the garden this afternoon. We already ate those. The beets made a wonderful addition to our salad last night. Yum!
Tomorrow: Can you say FRIDAY!? Friday, Friday.... Friday is my favorite day! Not sure what I will do with my favorite day... probably hang out with my wonderful son and clean some part of the house.

The things you would never wear are hysterical!!
I thought the bad habit thing was hard too, I don't want everyone to know what a jerk I really am, LOL!
I forgot about "Lions", that was a great movie!
Gina - In response to my son knowing sign language. Yep, he sure does! It took some time to teach him but he is really pretty good now. I make him say please and more and thank you. He also knows eat and drink. Other than that he has quite a repertoire of grunts and points, he doesn't really use words. :-)
