Well it was bath day. So since my son's hair was getting so shaggy looking and it's going to get hot this week, I decide it's a great day for a haircut. I always cut my husband's hair with the electric clippers and usually turns out wonderfully. So I thought I might try it out on my son. Well he really didn't mind the noise but the feel of it I think he thought was rather tickly because he smiled so big and shrugged his shoulders up around his neck when I would do a swipe across his head. Well, I learned that using the clippers for adult's hair may work just fine but with a wiggly toddler... well you get a less desirable effect. Now, his hair isn't all that bad, just a bit crooked in spots. And instead of trying to fix it by cutting more in effort to make it all the same length and possibly making it look worse, I have decided to just let it be. I mean he wouldn't look like a "true" toddler without uneven hair, right?
What have you learned today?

I learned that my sister is a funny gal. A funny gal who likes to cut her kids hair. We've all been there sis. And we've all learned we do not cut our children's hair unless it's absolutely necessary. :-)
Glad to have you in blog-land finally. I knew I'd turn you to the "dark-side" sooner or later.

Jennifer,
I learned you are a comedic writer! I smiled as I read the all to familiar hair-cut-hell story. PS You haven't seen Rachel's bob yet have you! LOL
Thank you for sharing this day with us all.
Love,
Amy
