Beautiful Lilies

I woke up this morning and immediately saw that my lily had finally opened. I couldn't wait so I rushed outside in my jammies and caught it as it had just finally fully opened. I guess this day is to be a good one. :-) There is no better way to wake up on a sunny summer day, than to sit and marvel at God's perfect beauty. (well, I could have skipped the part where I had to constantly push my toddler's hands away from the pretty flower as I tried to take a picture of it.) :-)

These have to be one of my most favorite flowers! I planted several plants in my front yard this spring and have anxiously awaited for each to bloom. This is my newest bloomer! :-) And my favorite by far out of all that I have planted!
