May 1st we took the boys to the Portland Zoo. I see lots of zoo trips coming this summer!
Mothers Day at Seaside, OR. This is Jacob's first ride on the Tilt-a-Whirl. He actually loved it, you just can't tell from the terrorized look on his face here. :-)
This is my orchid that started blooming before Valentine's day, and it's not only STILL blooming but it's sending out NEW flowers! How cool is that?!
This picture is from Memorial Day, a short trip we made to see my Gramie in Nampa. It was long overdue and we all had a great time! The boys felt the same love with Gramie and Sula as I always remembered as a child. Priceless!!!
On our way home from Idaho, we stopped at Hilgard State Park just 10 miles out of LaGrande. This is our favorite resting spot along the trip now! It was a lovely place for a perfect lunch of sandwiches and my Gramie's homemade potato salad! The boys took turns throwing rocks into the water for a while after lunch before we headed back out. Good times! :-)
