Fun beach trip

We decided on a whim to take a trip to the beach on Sunday morning. Sometimes those are the most fun trips you can ever take, and this one was no exception. We headed to Seaside to look around a bit and it was a packed with people and since the kids were sleeping we decided to head down to Ecola State Park. It was sunny when we arrived and the wind was only blowing a bit so we took a walk on the beach down near some rocks that blocked most of the wind for us. We played in a fresh stream that was running down off the hills into the ocean and through a maze of large boulders scattered along the waters edge. After a couple hours of play the sun had went away and the clouds were setting in and the wind had picked up some so we headed off to Doogers to eat some grub for dinner. Hubby had an assortment of sauteed seafood and I had a shrimp salad and clam chowder with a side of crab cocktail. It was a lovely dinner, mostly because the children were fantastic and the food was fabulous! It couldn't have been a lovelier day!

Dude I am so freaking jealous! I haven't seen the ocean in three years! Guess I'm gonna have to gussy up and drive myself up to your house to have some real fun!
I love ya!
