2 months old already

Wow, has it been 2 weeks since I last posted!? Sorry for the delay but it seems just when I seem to get a grip on my life, my world explodes once again.

Jacob and I got over our colds finally a week or so ago, so we have been healthy for a little while anyway. I seem to have contracted a rash over the weekend. After much research on the internet, I think we have narrowed it to the hot tub use. I see my dr this afternoon to verify exactly what the problem seems to be, and hopefully get something to clear it up.

Jacob had his 2 month dr's visit this morning and got his shots. He is quite cranky today about it too. He now weighs 11 pounds 6 oz and is 22 inches long. He is getting quite big and heavy... whew, my poor arms are already sore from holding him since we got home from the dr's office. Otherwise, we have a perfectly healthy baby boy and he is doing great!

I can't be as positive about my husbands work however. So much has happened the last couple weeks but I will give you the jist of where things hang as of today. Things seem to change daily with this process so it may be a completely different story tomorrow, although I will try to keep my blog updated occasionally with the latest move date. So, the Hilti Portland guy, that was going to hire Jonny, quit. Yep, we were given no warning or reason why, he just quit, with no words to us. So that leaves Jonny where? We aren't quite sure yet but Jonny will be flying to Portland next Monday to meet the next person in charge and hopefully that person will hire Jonny and get the ball rolling on our move there. Our current plan is that Jonny will take the kids and I up to Portland Mothers Day weekend to stay with my folks a few weeks until I can find us a place to live. Hopefully by the beginning of June Hilti will be moving Jonny up to Portland as well. At least we are hoping so. If the visit doesn't go well next Monday, we may be back to him finding another job in Portland, I'm not sure. Like I said, plans change daily, almost, so we shall see.

I leave you with a picture of Jacob on a happier note, taken just a couple days ago. I will try to update again soon, if not be patient with me, I will eventually write again. :-)
Blessings to all!

apparently my first note didn't get saved....so I'll have to be short & sweet this time.

See you mother's day! Hope to see Jonny b4 them & hope it all works out w/ the big wigs.

Jacob looks like Jonny!

Jennifer,
What a beautiful baby boy! He looks so healthy and happy. Jacob is the mirror image of Jonny!
