Nothing new

Well I had my Dr appt yesterday and it went very well. They always go smoothly. And the Dr is always super nice. My weight and blood pressure and urine were all ok and checked out to be normal. I did gain one pound this last week and I was a bit bummed about that but I'm not gonna fuss too much much about weight now... not much I can do about it. My blood pressure has always been great as well and there has never been protein in my urine so that means I don't have any problems. The baby's heartrate was 138, which is what normal has been for him all along. His has always been in the 130's... funny becuase Josiah was always in the 150-160's. Just shows me that these 2 are very different. The dr also checked my cervix to see if there was any change yet, and unfortunately I'm not even dialated at all! I was very bummed about that but he was encouraging and said that a woman could not be at all one day and the next day be a 3 and in labor. He also said it's quite normal to not be dialated yet at 37 weeks. I guess I had just expected a little something since I went so early with Josiah. But if I have learned one thing with this pregnancy, it is that ALL pregnancies are different and cannot be judged on past ones or even other family members, this baby will simply come when he is ready to and I (big sigh here) have to be patient. So unfortunately I guess I have said all this information to just say that there is simply nothing happening yet. I am just sitting here waiting to have this little boy, as patiently as I possibly can.

Well I hope that you all have blessed weekends. Ours may be quiet and restful, but that may be just what we need right now. Please keep us in your prayers and thoughts as we wait for our little one to be born. Thank you again for all your support and love.

You are absolutely right, each pregnancy can be different. All we know now is God has performed another miracle for which we are all thankful. Love you
