To be or not to be...

That is certainly our question this morning. Is this really labor or is my body just gearing up for it?

I had contractions start last night about 6pm and they were every 12 minutes or so for about an hour or more, then they went to every 17 minutes for another hour and then they came every 10 minutes for probably an hour and a half. I decided to heed my books suggestions and laid down in bed on my left side to see if they would subside some and they did. So I dozed on and off most of the night, mainly only waking up for the major ones. I think I woke up for maybe 8 of them all night. So not too bad. I thought, ok, I can handle this... then I decided to finally get up at 7:15 and take a shower. Ever since I have had contractions inconsistantly of course, but they are still coming. So I will see how it goes and I'm thinking I should call the dr's office this morning and just check in with them about what my body is doing. What do you all think? Wait this out or call the dr?

My other dilemma this morning was a bit funny... but I'll tell you anyway, becuase I'm keeping my spirits up. :-) While in the shower, I had to make a decision whether I would shave my legs or not. Now, to most men and maybe some women who never got as big as I am with this pregnancy, that may seem completely ridiculous but to me, this is something to consider. Of course, I would like to have clean shaven legs for birth, but honestly, do dr's really care what your calves look like... umm, somehow I just don't think so. Also, if you saw how difficult it really is for me to bend over and get to that part of my leg, you would understand my decision, which was not to. I honestly could not even reach all of my leg this morning, so I just said phewey with it... I'm jsut gonna have hairy legs when I give birth, and you know what... that's ok! Becuase gosh darn it, they shouldn't be looking there anyway. :-) hahaha

Well I will certainly keep you all the loop. And if I am unable to write for any reason, please go to my sister's blog as she will keep a good blog update of my progress. In the meantime, please keep me and the baby in your prayers. Thank you so much for all of your support! Blessings to you all. :-)
