Today I woke up to snow! It's the end March for goodness sake! It shouldn't be snowing in Portland! But it did. And we enjoyed every moment, well I'm not so sure the dog did, but the kids did. It snowed for 2 hrs and we only got about an inch or so of slushy snow, and 2 hrs later it was completely gone, but it sure was fun to wake up to. Enjoy the pic's of kids and flowers in my yard and neighbors side yard. :-) (I'm sure he won't mind my taking pic's of his flowers)

# 14
This last week we celebrated our 14th anniversary on the beach, camping with our kids. We spent our first 9 years together without kids and desperately trying to have one, so now when we celebrate it seems silly to celebrate without them. Granted we do like to get away from them on occasion and be alone (although I have no idea what to do with my arms when we do, they just seem so empty). Anyway, we decided this year since the baby was still too young to spend the night with anyone still, we would do a family trip to celebrate our life together, all four of us.
We had the most fabulous time. We were greeted with a rainbow when we arrived at the campground, (which in turn all the rain clouds blew away and the sky was clear for 5 hrs!), and we left the beach 2 days later eating our dinner on the grass in Oceanside watching the sun go down and the most beautiful sunset we have seen in some time. God really blessed our family with some very memorable moments, like dancing and singing around the campfire, and taking long walks on the beach looking for monsterous agates, but most of all we celebrated our love for each other and took time to remember that day 14 years when we exchanged our vows and marveled at how far we have come and realized we love each other more today than we did that day so many years ago when we felt our hearts could not get any fuller. Oh how we were wrong! God has truly blessed us over and over and we are so thankful!
Blessings to you all!

Busy times
Yesterday while making dinner, both Jonny and I were in the kitchen but each on a task and we were reminded how not to turn your back on the baby while he's in the kitchen with us.

Is there horns growing or is it my imagination? no worries, just hair. :-)
There goes the Lucky Charms... oh well, we didn't like them anyway.

With his increasing mobility comes very busy times for Josiah and I. I am constantly watching the 2 of them to make sure they don't kill one another or themselves. Oh the days we have ahead... I shiver at the thought. :-) Pray for us. :-) ha ha

Silly boy
We are still dealing with sick kids here in our house. Currently the baby has an ear infection on top of the nasty cough that both boys are fighting and have been for nearly 2 months now! The boys will be seeing the Dr again next week but we have to see if the antibiotic will help. Until then we are just trying to get through each day with as much energy as we can. :-)
In spite of all that, yesterday was a beautiful day. So I took the kids to the park in the afternoon, we needed fresh air. We had a really good time and as usual Josiah made new friends. After we got home he played with his little friend across the street for a few minutes but then remembered he had to go potty so he came running in to do his business. He made it to the bathroom and about 30 seconds later I hear this little voice "mommy, I need help." I go in to see what the problem is and he sitting on the potty and tells me that he's all wet. I said why are you wet, did you have an accident. He said no, and then he stood up. Yep, there they were. His underwear were still on and he told me that he forgot to take off his underwear to go potty. I couldn't help myself, I laughed a little bit, but quickly caught myself when I saw his sad look. I helped him change his clothes and tried to get him back outside. But by the time we were all done with that his friend had to go in so we said goodbye and daddy came home and gave him lots of love. What a silly boy!
Fun times. Blessings to you all and pray that you are all well and healthy!
